Echoes and Reflections professional development programs take place each week across the United States at museums, Holocaust centers, community venues, schools, and school districts.

We send an experienced facilitator to the program location and provide all resources at no cost, including copies of the Echoes and Reflections Teacher’s Resource Guide for all secondary school teachers in attendance.

It was a pleasure working with the organizers of this program – everyone is easy to work with and very professional. We have already helped plan two programs and look forward to doing more!

What are the costs associated with hosting a program?

Other than your valuable time, there are no costs associated with hosting a program! We are not able to provide food or cover the cost of substitutes.

What are my responsibilities as a program host?

You will need to provide a training location, secure audio-visual equipment, and recruit and register a minimum of 25 middle and high school teachers from a variety of schools to attend.

What do you provide?

We will send an experienced facilitator to engage participants with the print and online resources in Echoes and Reflections, and provide the Teacher’s Resource Guide at no cost to all secondary educators in attendance. While the responsibility for promotion is primarily in your hands, the Echoes and Reflections marketing team will assist with recruiting educators for your program.

Do you provide us with any tools to help promote a program?

Yes, we have outreach templates available. They include a flyer, press release, newsletter, email, and ad. Once you’ve scheduled your program, someone from our marketing team will be in touch to work with you.

What else do I need to know about hosting a program?

Programs are a minimum of three hours. Many programs are longer, including full-day programs as well as programs that are held as part of multi-day conferences. We require that a minimum of 25 participants are registered three weeks in advance of a program.
