I actually used some of the materials in one of my classes this morning. At the beginning of class, I felt the reaction to the lesson was Oh, ho hum, Holocaust again…, but as they read the primary sources from lesson one and watched the film clip from that lesson, their attitudes changed because the subject became more real. One kid, who had been very blithe at the beginning of class, said quite mutedly to me at the end of class, “Was he really crying?” Thank you so much for these materials.
